Yes ive read it  and its no worse than any other sports bike for touring IMO. Hes got a lovely clean bike there and from other shots. I just find that unless you sit upright and ride one handed you dont see much of your surroundings. It all depends on whether touring is just getting from A to B or whether you're after some scenery allong the way.

Gotta say I was pretty surprised when I flipped through the magazine yesterday... wrote them some time ago, and never even heard from them, but apparently they got it :D

Havent got a problem seeing much of the scenery, but maybe because im kinda short...

Well, we usually go around 160kph, although I wouldnt mind 180, but the Viffers I travel with dont like that speed.
The nice thing is you can do some 200kph "bomb-runs" to empty a tank and cover a distance pretty fast, and of course the traditional attack on 250-260 when you get enough cruising... just because its legal :D

It would be rude not to

I was over in Germany a few years ago in a rented Merc (SLK - the girlie one  ) Flat out about 244 KPH but It was very tiring - 100% concentration - much easier to travel around 150, alot easier on the juice too :D Still feels wierd overtaking the cops though :D
