Where did you get the padding from that sits above the seat at the back? And what sort of foam is it? Nice wheels to! Look proper smart.

Looks very nice mate.

Is the 24kg weight saving estimates or is it confirmed measured weights ? I only ask as I m looking to do the same and I m falling far short of getting 24 kg of the big old girl. My weight saving so far is as follows

Harris Titanium Exhaust -4kg
Dymag UP7 Lightweights - 3kg
Pilot Pure Tyres - 1kg
Gilles GP Light Clipon - 1kg
Headlights - 1kg
Mirrors -0.5 kg
Lithuim Ion Battery -3kg
Undertray & Indicators -1kg

which totals 14kg and still 6kg short of where I want to be and a massive 10kg short of you impressive gains for similar mods , got any tips or suggestions ?????? i know the T1 airbox will save me 2.2kg but want to keep the engine relatively standard to maintain relability and happy with the rear wheel 132 bhp I already have with cans, PC and custom map.

Im actually up to 29kg removed now 8-)
I have weighed the parts Ive removed and the parts Ive fitted.
The biggest save is by far the lightweight wheels, T1 airbox, and the full Akrapovic system, these three alone are almost 16kg.

Thanks for the info. One quick and probably stupid question are you sure its kg and not lbs.

I get the wheels as 3kg saving and the turneone airbox as 2.2 kg so if my sums are right the akrapovic is saving a whopping 10.8 kg which if correct is awesome. My titanium system by Harris which is cans and intermediate pipes only saves 4 kg less than stock. Have you got titanium headers as if they save the remaining 6.8 kg in your total of 16 kg saving I have tho have a set.

I really hope you dont mind me asking such specific details but with embarking on a similar weight saving project to what you have already completed accurate info is invaluable. I have been on American forums and they have some very hard to believe claims for weight reduction and I really don't want to waste huge chunks of cash only to find out they were heavily exaggerating.

No problem, yeah we use the correct, metric, system here in Denmark :D

I have an Akrapovic full system, which only weighs 5.6kg everything included.

If you are interested I can email you my datasheet with all the numbers?

A lightweight battery saves 2.9kg, conversion to SP2 swingarm 1.3kg, 520 conversion 1.1kg and a Nitron shock 1kg. Then there is 20 small mods with a couple 100 g that adds up

Is your Akrapovic system titanium as well?
I have a stainless Arkapovic full system with carbon-fiber mufflers and here's my weights for the system:
Front head pipe: .434 Kg
Rear head pipe: 1002 Kg (including springs)
Collector section: 1.211 Kg
Right mid-pipe: .225 Kg
Left mid-pipe: .185 Kg
Muffler: 1.564 Kg (each)
Muffler straps and bolts: .164 Kg
For a total of 6.346 Kg

Hmm, unfortunately I dont think I have saved the individual weights of the exhaust. I believe it is SS with Ti midpipes and carbon canisters. Of my head I think maybe my canisters was only 1.2 or 1.3 each, but they are quite used.

I just fitted it again last week, but will try and remove a canister and weigh it to see if we can find the difference.
