Pics from Donington

Postby snoopyjon » Mon Nov 21, 2011 10:46 pm

Managed to track down the photographer from the track day at Donington. None of me getting my knee down, but still well worth the £30 I paid for them... Here's some of my favourites:

Nice pics :)

Not wanting to sound too critical, but is your foot intentionally off the peg in the last shot?? :o

Or was it just after a little moment and you were diciding to stay on or get off. :D
The extra sidwise positioning on the seat, was that to make room for something hot brown and steaming? :D
In the vid, it let go pretty quick and it didn't look like you were over doing it at all, quite unnerving if you ask me

Well spotted :D Yes, the picture with my foot off the peg was taken during one of my 'moments' :D

At least if I had dropped it, the camera guy was poised ready to record my failure :D Fortunately though, I saved it :D

Cheers,

Jon.

Yep, indeed... I wasn't overdoing it at all in the Melbourne Loop, but I think that may have been why it let go... Too much lean angle, not enough speed. I've played it over and over in my head loads of times, and that's the only reason I can come up with... Tyres were warm, it was planted everywhere else, so it's got to have been that...
