SP plus Ohlins and carbon, etc. equals big grin..

Postby SP_HRC » Sun May 15, 2011 5:06 pm

As a recent addition to the forum, I thought I'd best show why I've joined. Love SP's, always have since I saw the launch model back at the NEC in 2000. This is my second and is my pride and joy. Most of the mods were done by the previous owner so I can't take all the credit but I have added and/or removed a fair few bits in the time I've had it to get it to what it is today...

Key things to make it a bit special...

-QB carbon 21 litre tank painted in original Honda colours
-Harris carbon tail painted in Honda colours
-QB carbon undertray and tail light incorporating indicators
-QB carbon mudguard
-Ohlins R&T forks and Ohlins rear
-AP racing calipers front and rear including one off Harris underslung torque arm and caliper
-Dymags
-Harris triple clamps
-Magura Clutch and brake master cylinders
-Thumb operated brake
-Honda Racing Products rearsets
-Full Evo titanium Akrapovic system
-Engine is stock apart from a Power Commander and K&N.

Love the way the bike goes and looks even compared with more modern stuff and it still puts a big smile on my face. ;)

Dream Machine did the paint many moons ago and it looks standard until you get close and see the carbon peaking through. I definitely recommend it as a finish to any painted carbon bodywork, looks very tidy.
Cheers for the compliments fellas.

Cracking looking bike there matey, you can't beat SP's for looks in my opinion, 11 years on they are still a classy quality machine.
If you disagree with my opinion, feel free to ignore it.
