Hi all, apologies to the FB members on here who have probably seen way tooooo much of the SILVER SP1 but here are some pics of what should be the last variation my bike has had over the last 8 years. The funds that i once had to spend on this bike have tried up so there will be no Brembo radial front calipers, no Ohlins suspension (not that it needs it with K-tech fork internals and Nitron rear shock) no front mount rads and carbon tank etc. In fact i have learned to enjoy riding it again instead of blowing it up and it is a real pleasure. My last mod was making the white vinyl decal boards for the side fairings and then adding decals of the bits i have added to the bike. I couldn't find a silver race scheme to copy so sort of did my own. New engines still running sweet (ported, gas flowed and cams re profiled) standard airbox, factory pro evo star shift kit fitted to smooth out any possible futuer shift problems, Gallespeed wheels for bling and performance,Brembo rear caliper and underslung bracket and a 17 stone muppet riding it

Howdo Pete, looks a bit cleaner than the last time you saw her lol. Is Lyndon (Big Stink) still about? Still remember that weekend in Wales with great fondness despite the weather. Shame the others all chickened out

Hi Steve,
It was a good weekend despite the weather I finally got to bring the wife up there and do a little site seeing only Febuary just gone.
We didn't stay in the same place but we did drive past at one point.
Haven't heard from Lyndon in a while. He's probably still polishing his bike or finding some more carbon or titanium goodies to stick on
I've still got to get back up that way on two wheels in the summer, I keep promising I will and then running out of Summer I've got a Devon run and Scotland run planned for this year so far so I don't know if it will be this summer I'm back or the next, we'll see.

Are you planning to do all those miles on the SP? I must be getting old because i'm nackered after a couple of hours on mine, but what a great couple of hours it is.

We'll see how it goes I'm not as limber as I used to be and the wrists certainly let me know when they've had enough these days but I just have to keep an image of the wifes decorating list in my head and somehow I manage to muster up a few more miles before I turn around to come home
