I did this last year and promised that i would post some pics. It was one of the best things ive done to date and my first trackday. After a start to the day where it snowed and sleeted on the way to Mallory our afternoon session started wet but it dried out enough to get a dryish session.

Im afraid the photos are not Marc Marques but i was happy with how the day went and came away as most improved on the day :D (my mate said it was because i was so shit to begin with  ) hope you like and any comments welcome good or bad

At least you found a bike forum  It could have been a bit out of place on the womens knitting circle

So what did you think of the kwacker? I've always found it difficult to keep the 600s revs wound up enough to keep it fluid after being on twins for so long.
Also, treat yourself to a summer track day. Nothing gives you confidence more than half melted tyres on a hot day. The brakes and suspension all work soo much better too. It really gives you a chance to explore your limets.

Pete in all fairness ive only owned one bike thats not a twin, and that was a CBR600RR. It felt a tad strange first few laps but then the bike i,n all honesty, was brilliant (too small for a 6 foot plus bloke) plenty of power and the brakes (race pads) were astonishing.

When you say about the summer trackday we did this in May but that day the weather was just woeful!

I will do another but not on the SP im afraid as i realy wouldnt wont to throw it up the road.
