Thanks :-)

Since I had the exhaust on, I thought Id try and fit the tail and undertail. Surprise, surprise, damn licenceplate is too wide to fit between the cans, so had to disassemble and make new brackets and spacers. But pretty much perfect now :-)

I must admit, I really am a sad git
I'm sure I'm enjoying your rebuild a little more than what's healthy :D

Maybe this will cure you ;)

Managed to "trade" some old parts for cash, and trade that cash for this piece of CNC from Japan :-)

Time has gone with my dad's old Honda, will get back on project soon :-)

Next is to modify my Harris rear sets for best fitment with the new exhaust. Problem is I like the look of the rear sets, but not how they are suppose to mount, so its a bit of a puzzle...

That looks like an old 400 four

I remember doing a rebuild on one of them about 20 years ago. It'd be a travesty if you don't get that one back together
I don't know if a new set of rear sets would look any good on it though

New braided lines for front brakes and clutch arrived today.. for the SP :-)

Its a '76 CB400 Four, new clutch and throttle cables has been fitted, along with a new seal around the geararm, hoping to cancel out some oilspray... and then just general cleaning. Its a workhorse!

It might be a work horse for you but they are pretty sort after over here and a bit of a collectors item now. If you were to give it a refresh, as good as you are the SP, and try to keep everything as original as possible, it'd be worth a fair few quid 8-)
