Stylish Hugger

Finaly managed to obtain a hugger for my SP1 that dosen't look like a piece of plastic guttering or a pig trough. SP2's have a much better range to chose from IMO and i had been trying to get a Hotboddies SP1 hugger from the States with no joy, so when this carbon one came up on Ebay i had it. Took delivery today and it really is good quality carbon from Tyga I allready have the two piece chain guard set so didnt need the integral chain guard styles.

really nice bud i have the Tyga hugger on my SP2 really well made and look the nuts when on the bike.....

fitted the hugger today, only just clears the 55 rear tyre though

Very tight clearance though

Perhaps you could put some nylon washers or something under it to give more clearance

I have seen photos before where the tyre's grow at speed (centrifugal force) and eat through close fitting mudguards

Very nice , I was looking at getting one of those, but then found a SP2 swingarm. Will have to get their SP2 version though

the tyres quite new so il check for wear soon but there is in fact about 7-8 mm clear.

Be aware, with the SP2 swingarm a 190/55 tyre seems to catch the hugger, whilst my SP1 has no such issue

I have the Tyga one on my SP2 and a 55 tyre and it clears fine with no washers or raising. Top quality items from Tyga! I still have the carbon tail section and yoke on the wish list!
