Hi
What is the best way to clean the calipers and brackets. I have tried brake disc cleaner and it didnt do much.
Has anyone tried silver paint on the brackets and gold on the calipers?
I saw stevep's thread but he powder coated his.

I cleaned mine a couple of weeks ago using Wonder Wheels. Amazing stuff!!! Just spray it on and work it with the provided brush. Rinse it with water and bloody magic......they look as new!!!
It's about £7-8 per 500ml.

It really does work....Check it out. Just keep it away from steel, it rusts it like you wouldn't believe!

Paint is a lot easier to get the shit off on a regular basis.
Just my opinion.

Oh and don't be scared to strip em right down & give em a good wash in the kitchen sink using Fairy & a good stiff brush.
Understanding wife is a bonus.
