ladybird hrc copy clearance issues

Postby AdamSP » Mon Feb 17, 2014 5:50 pm

does anyone with this gorgeous system know why they are sold as sp2 only fitment? is it because the pipes fit into the indent on the sp2 swingarm and not the sp1. my new swinger has the cast front section from the sp1 and seems an impossibility to fit those pipes in behind?. For those that have purchased these was it through simon kobe. I'm running high level harris titatnium at the moment but I am seriously tempted.

It might just be that he only has the SP2 in stock.
Both the SP1 and SP2 were still available last year and from looking at the pipes I don't think the swing arm comes into play so I think it's the slight difference in header pipe between the SP1 and the SP2. SP2 has a couple of mm fatter pipe.
Have a look on here for some good pictures

The LBP HRC replica exhaust was only made for the SP2.
Or most likely, for the SP2 swingarm.

This is the eBay site for the HRC replica exhaust in the U.S.

I'd send an inquiry to Simon (SimonKobeJapan) for any questions about fitment.
Simon is a great guy to deal with, and was instrumental in getting this exhaust made.
