Help! Front Forks.

Postby Dartmoor Dave » Tue May 02, 2017 9:24 pm

Help me guys. I need an SP2 lower LH fork leg. Straight would be nice but I'll take a bent one as long as the lower casting is A1 condition and I'll unscrew it and stick it on mine. Cheers.

Went to the States in Oct, picked up a slightly bent leg with an A1 lower casting for twenty quid. All is well. Screwed it onto mine no problem, just warmed the castings with a gas blowlamp and broke the loctite. Bit of wiggling and they just unscrewed. Refitted with the lowest strength loctite. SP parts are so cheap from breakers to a US address it was worth lugging back a case load. Just under the kgs limit of course. Partzilla is sending me some body bits so much less than UK even with the costs.
Roll on spring so I can get both going.

The prices of new stuff is a lot cheaper but the shipping can be expensive unless you buy a lot of stuff from the US.
