How do I get this blasted bolt out? Nut is off, so is the outer nut on the head side that requires the special socket, but I can't get the bolt to budge, have I missed something? Please help?

Thanks

Matt

Which are you referring to, the long engine mount bolt, or the engine adjust bolt (that's secured with the castellated nut)?

The long bolt that runs across the front of the engine, underneath the radiators. Is there something I have missed or forgotten to do?

Thanks

Were you trying to remove the front engine mount bolt to install crash bungs?
If so, you probably don't need to loosen the lock nut and engine adjust bolt.

The engine mount bolt can be a bit "snug".
There was probably a bit of engine weight on the bolt as well since the engine hangs from these bolts before they're torqued down in sequence.

I had to use a soft mallet to get mine started.
It went back in easier, especially after I put a light coating of grease on the bolt.

That is exactly what I'm trying to do. Thank you for the advice, soft mallet it is then... I've already tried hitting it with a hammer though and it hasn't moved so far :(

Thanks
