Im considering removing the engine during winter to make cleaning it easier.
Ive checked the manual, and seems easy enough. It states it is very important to get the torque values right, and in the right sequence, or start over. No problem, except for two adjusting bolt that are quoted to 4 and 10 Nm, which is far less than my torque wrench can do.

How important is this, I have no problem torquing the bigger 40+ Nm.

I really admire how much effort you have put into cleaning you bike and getting it spot on - But I really wouldn't bother removing the engine.
I would just do my best with it in the frame. When the fairing goes back on no one will know any different.
It could be just making alot of work for yourself.

To answer your a question - I dont know about the torque settings, but you can get a Draper torque wrentch from 10Nm to 60 Nm for approx 25 Euro

Hmm, that is a good point. But on the other hand it wont be riding weather until april anyhow.

Maybe I should just remove the swingarm. Need to get the shock off and refurbished, so wouldnt be much trouble Id think.

I'm sure you already have the special tools to remove the engine adjust bolts and swingarm lock nuts, but if you don't, and you don't have a source for the tools, here's a site where you can obtain a combo tool that fits both engine adjust bolt and swingarm lock nut.

I have one as a backup to the the factory tools I have also.
