No Spark!

Hi all, I've just had a second ECU die on my 05 SP2 and was wondering if anyone has found any faults that could cause the ECU to die or are we just unlucky and they just die on their own?

I'm always in favour of finding out why something dies especially as these ECU's cost a shed load of money.

David Silver's tells me that Honda only do a 12 month warranty on spare parts.

Is my problem that at 40k miles I'm riding the bike too much? Perhaps I should do more miles in a year so that should the next ECU fall over it will be within the warranty period.

if you get stuck I have a tried and tested 100% good SP2 ECU done 10k only,
