What fuel/brand/type best suits your SP?
Mines been feeling a little lumpy since its winter hibernation. I had her out on a few runs and used her for work a couple of times but she still was feeling a little under par. Anyway, filled her up with some Total Excellium yesterday and took her out into the lanes to show her a good time :shhh:
About thirty miles in I realized she was running a lot smother and sounding really sweet. I guess she must have finally cleared her throat or the fuel is better quality than the normal Esso I've been using.

Anyone else experience the same sort of thing?

Pete

I tend to go for BP Ultimate or Shell Optimax, always find she runs great on those two (and pops and bangs alot on the overun  )

I prefer to use Shell or BP but at the rate the SP drinks it I'll take whatever's nearby!

I seem to get a few more miles when using super unleaded but generally I stick with standard unleaded, can't see the point in spending more money on something that the engine doesn't need. Maybe once I get those Durbahn high-comp pistons though... ;)

Just be thankful you aren't forced to run ethanol :angry-banghead:

Shell V-Power,all the time,every time. ;)

I wouldn't go near anything else!! (although it says on my tank "use 95 or above"). :?

Usually just run standard unleaded but if I'm out on a good run or going to track or TT I tend to put a few tanks of super unleaded through. It does like the clean stuff but its bloody expensive! I've seen a few £20 fill ups recently! :snooty:

Tell me about it...... I filled up the other day, handed over a £20 and got shrapnel back - there went the bacon butty I'd promised myself at Corwen! Full fuel tank but empty stomach

Still the day I buy an electric bike is the day I cut my own nuts off :o
