water pump case

hi there can any one tell me if the sp2 water pump caseing will fit the sp1 ,tried to change waterpump seal today and cracked the sodding case. :( :(

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but posting up on the forum asking for help when you've only just joined the day before and haven’t even bothered to introduce yourself is not the best way to encourage anyone to help :? or maybe it's just me :think:

In answer to your question DDJ YES, as far as I am aware. I've just had a quick look on a Honda US site and the 2000 model has the same part number as my 2004 one. It not as expensive as I first thought either. check out the link http://www.hondaparts-direct.com/fiche_ ... veh=132161

hi the advise was good :thumbup: had a used part from dk spares have fitted it all seems well :) ,based in the rhondda about 20miles south of cardiff have,nt got a clue wear matlock is ,but by the time may comes around hopfully the bike will be ready for a run,all the best.ddj.

It's a little over 150 from me to Matlock so a couple of hours if the traffics good or all morning if I head off into the lanes :D
