engine FI code problems

Ok I need a hand on this one
Riding the bike the other day bike was running ok but when I overtook a car the bike gave a big hesitation then took off as normal looked down and the FI light flashed on
The bike did this a couple of times when opening the throttle on hard acceleration and once on a particularly bumpy bend at low speed and constant throttle
When I got home did a reading of the fault code and came up with codes 12 to 15
There all injector connection codes for front and rear connections and the manual says the bike shouldn’t be running with this error
Seems a bit strange to me to have both back and front connections playing up unless it’s to do with common connector
Anyone have any thoughts or had a similar problem before I tear in to the wiring???
Also the bike is running a PC3 could that be the problem?

Disconnect the PC3 first and ride it to see if the problem goes away. If not, then follow the instructions in the FSM for checking out the various injectors and wiring. Hopefully (cos they are real cheap to replace.... ) just the Powercommander playing up.

i can almost guarentee you its a loose battery connection or a damaged battery lead. i have suffered this alot

Yep def start with disconnecting your PC3. Had similar(ish) problems a few weeks ago. PC3 was disconnected and problem solved. Turned out the PC cable running under the fuel tank had been crushed over time...

well got the PC disconnected just need to give it a good run after wiping error codes
would have done it already but as per usual the heavens have opened and its rained all day
i'll try and get it done over the week sometime and report back what happens
got a feeling its going to be the PC have to brake it to the Mrs when she sat down I'm buying a new one

Well the story so far
With work and the weather didn’t get a chance to run the bike till Friday
Following advice pulled the connections on the PC and took it for a run
No fault codes came up so confirmed something to do with the PC
Did notice a little black on the inside of one of the connections when I pulled it. It was so small it looked like a smug of grease so reconnected it after a bloody good clean.
Did 100 miles round trip to devils and back with a little off shoot with the PC reconnected not a murmur so looks like it was just a dodgy connection all along bit of a result really as no new PC needed
Mind you it’s not the first time I’ve had problems with connections on this bike so probably not the last to don’t think it was as well looked after before as it is now with me

Use dielectric grease on all connectors I do every winter 30.000 miles on the old girl and never had an issue
