Interesting, I had the same done (rad repair) so will keep my eye on it! Might eat my words!!

I might just start off with the lower temperature switch first and see how it is this year. Last year a couple of times it did run very hot very quick but to be fair it cooled down fine once I started moving again

I'm keeping my eye on a couple on ebay so it'll be a job to do when I drop the oil I think

its on the radiator Bobba dont mix it up with the sump bolt
