Yeah... they never understand do they.... but at least you know everything is spot on. Its important to give the bike the once over you never know what you can find.

Years ago, GSXR750K.... got it, thought it handled a bit strange! the swingarm spacers were missing! :o So its always worth a butchers. :mrgreen:

I did mine 3K early. Some clearances were just on the limits so I changed the shims so that they are spot on. Every new to me bike gets a mini (major) overhaul.

Herself can never understand "you just got the bike, why are you taking it apart?" Sometimes I wonder myself :D

I think it's a change of ownership kind of thing, a bit like a cat leaving it's mark on a new carpet.
It kinda makes it more yours :)

Well, back from GP Wheels in Grimsby, £126 valve clearances checked, no adjustment necessary. 8-)

Sorted now, all fully serviced and ready for TT but may do the flapper thingy in the air intake :twisted:
